Henna Body Art

Henna tattoos, also known as Mendhi, are temporary stains of the skin using natural materials such as leaves, tea, and essential oils.  This art has been used for thousands of years by men and women of the Near East, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Henna powder  was prized in European trade routes and considered a rare but essential ingredient to many paints and dyes, both for body art as well as on canvas.

We use only natural red henna with no chemical enchancers or dyes. 

Henna normally lasts anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks or more, depending on your skin type and how you care for it.

Tattoos are available by appointment only.  Please schedule your appointment at least 2 days in advance so that the materials can be prepared specifically for your work.  A $20 deposit is required at the time of reservation.

Available for parties!

Have a henna artist come to your party.  $50 per hour for groups up to 5 with unlimited henna work.  $5 each additional person over 5 participants.  A travel fee of $0.50 per mile for all events outside the city of Richmond, KY.  All fees are required at time of reservation.
